I am the band director at a public high school in Northern California. The choir director and I thoroughly enjoy working with our students. They are wonderful kids. They are kind yet talented, grounded yet ambitious, humble yet hardworking. Together we promote within our students the idea of excellence through perseverance.
Due to where we are located, many of our students come from households of modest means.
While they have the drive to learn, many do not have the resources. This does not stop us from doing everything we can to support our students. We fundamentally believe that all students have the right to experience a proper music education.
My Project
Our high school drumline is growing yet again! We are in need a of a new marching bass drum to fill out our ensemble. With your generosity, we can make this happen.
Help us add some power to our marching band!
A new bass drum would be heard at rallies, football games, parades, and patriotic events all around town.
