My students need adequate marching bass drums in order to continue our growth in the band program and enhance our chances of becoming a successful marching band.

My Students

My students are hard-working, dedicated, love music, and love to learn. They enjoy every aspect about the school band department including: marching band, jazz band, concert band, honors bands, and much, much more!

Every day, I am reminded that my students will overcome any challenge that is thrown their way.

Not only do they play the notes on the page but they have a thirst to learn more about the music. They ask engaging questions, theorize, they dig deeper for more information. They also make connections to other content areas so that learning in two different worlds become one.

My Project

My students want to be successful. They continue to strive for excellence in every aspect of band but with the current condition of our marching percussion, it takes a big toll on the overall sound and student morale. With providing new marching bass drums, we will have a great bass section along with boosting students' ideas of being one of the best in the area. They will see with new equipment that they can compete against other schools and receive high ratings, which in turn will provide the success that they yearn for.

By receiving a new marching bass drum, the band will have a sense of direction.

Their excitement will be contagious and they will want to try their best in any setting, especially that in marching band.
