Help me give my students some basic supplies to help them in the writing process. We are working on a Unit called"All About Me" and the students are writing their own Biographies. We need a printer.

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
Each and every day I am given he wonderful task of teaching an eclectic group of culturally diverse minds. My middle school students are full of energy, opinions, and a desire to learn more about themselves. I am charged with the responsibility of educating and equipping my students to become lifelong learners.
I give my students the creative autonomy to help navigate their learning experience thru lessons and activities that challenge them to be active in the learning experience.
My students have ideas, questions, and opinions that help us dive deeper into cultural studies, history, all while infusing ELA into the instruction.
This semester, my students came with so many questions about culture and race. After explaining to the classes that many of them are a mix of different cultures and heritages that came together for many different reasons throughout the development of the united States of America. The students have then asked the question, WHAT AM I?
I replied, "We are all AMERICAN!" Now, the students want to know their DNA heritage and I want to help them Discover Who They Are.
My Project
During the middle school years, students are trying to identify who they are and are always looking for ways to group themselves with one another. Without proper knowledge of who the students are personally and culturally, it will be hard for them to be actively engaged in learning about the history and culture of others without first acknowledging who they are.
This project will allow the students to learn about themselves, thru investigation and exploration.
Students will be able to write their unique history and highlight who they are culturally. By reading books that highlight their history and culture, students will be able to learn about the diverse history of others and to see how the cultures of other students in the class are interrelated in many ways. By having students ask questions about their family history, cultural history, and writing their own biography using the printer to print their work, additional supplies will be used to enhance the learning process.
