Help me give my students the all about today activity center and the multi-sensory squeeze beads, so they can have hands-on practice items within reach.
This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
I love that my students are eager to learn different things, daily. Some of my students just want to know that they have a loving support team that have their back. As a teacher, it warms my heart to know that the children are anxious to learn all that they can.
Most children in the state of Mississippi live in poverty.
We live in an area where there are not enough resources, support, and some parents are not able to provide resources for their children. I see the great potential that my students have, as I walk around and monitor their work ethics.
I know that it takes a concerned community to raise a child and a multitude of teachers and support staff to show an ounce of love for them. In the end, the students will be very thankful.
My Project
The “All About” Calendar pocket chart will give my children the actual model of what they need to learn. For example, the chart will allow my students to see the days of the week, months of the year, and numbers. Children have different learning styles, so teachers should display the different learning styles in the classroom. If I am up teaching the numbers from the 100’s chart and I don’t display the numbers, the students are only learning what they hear. They are not learning the numbers if they do not see the numbers.
