My Students

The students in our classroom come from diverse backgrounds.. They range in age from 3 years old to 5 years old. The students come from a very low-income area and all of the students qualify for free lunch. A number of the students in the class come from single parent homes and/or are being raised by their grandparents or other family members.

The preschoolers in our class come to school excited and ready to learn and experience new things.

There are typically developing students as well as students who receive special education services in the classroom. The families of the students in our classroom love their children and want the absolute best for them.

My Project

My students loves creating things and letting their imaginations run. I want to be able to provide my students with quality materials for our classroom art center so that they are able let their creativity flow and create wonderful pieces of art.

Every child is an artist.

It is important that children are given the tools and materials that will allow them to produce the wonderful works of art that they are capable of producing. The paints, brushes, daubers, various types of paper, writing tools, beads, and other art materials are just the things that my students need to help us create a classroom art center that will encourage the students to tap into their creative side,
