My Students

Kindergarten is a different animal entirely from what I became accustomed to teaching second grade, but it is absolutely amazing! My classroom is full of kids who are curious, smart, and hilarious, and I am overjoyed to be their teacher.

Every student is interesting, unique, and deserves the best that the world can offer them.

I believe it is my job to prepare my kids for life to the best of my ability, and I see such potential in each and every child that has ever been a part of my classroom.

My Project

Because children are being exposed to more and more technology at early ages, I am preparing kids for jobs that don't exist yet. Due to this, we need to make sure students know the appropriate language that goes along with technology. Children cannot excel if they do not have all the tools they need. This is true for everything from reading and math to battling hunger.

I would like to add a coding train set for my kindergarten students to learn and practice their technology vocabulary and skills.

This set would be an interactive way for children to play and learn the appropriate skills to help prep them for tasks they may encounter in the future.
