Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
Do you work better when you have some background music to listen to? Do you enjoy finding new ways to use technology in our everyday life? Students are the same!!
My students are hard-working third graders who love to listen to music while getting tasks done.
I allow time in my classroom for 'dance breaks' or 'sing breaks' when our energy is dipping. It is so much fun!! Student engagement is an absolute priority in my classroom and allowing students to use their multi-tasking skills while applying new technology to improve their lives is another way to keep them engaged.
My Project
Technology is a part of everybody's life. My students are surrounded by it every single day. Part of this technology is the ability to use it in ways that can enhance their lives. Providing Alexa for my students will open up even more possibilities for them. Music is always being played in my classroom, but playing music is just the beginning....what will they be able to each Alexa? What games will they learn to play? What applications for real-life situations will they explore? Can Alexa make their learning experience even better? Allow my student the opportunity to explore the world with Alexa.
