My Students

My students are in a regular education classroom and live in a lower socio-economic area compared to the surrounding suburbs in upstate New York. These 5th graders have a real yearning for investigating and learning about new things, but they are not always afforded the opportunities to do so. Our school is comprised of about four hundred 4th and 5th graders. Everyone works together to do what is best for our "family" at this school.

My students are curious 10 and 11 years old who love the excitement that new technology brings to their lives.

They are an awesome group of boys and girls, very eager to learn. Students have access to laptops and love opportunities to engage in authentic, engaging learning experiences with the most current technology resources.

My Project

Technology continues to be part of my students' daily lives whether in school or out. Voice-recognition software and smart homes are also starting to be a common theme in our everyday lives.

Students love opportunities to engage in authentic learning experiences with the newest interactive technology resources.

The Echo Spot will give my students a chance to interact and learn with AI by being able to ask thought-provoking questions, play many interactive games that can strengthen their problem-solving skills, and even check their math calculations!

The Echo buttons can be used for trivia games as well as interactive review games that can sharpen their skills and knowledge base.
