My Students

My AP Physics students are some of the best and brightest students in the school. They're smart, hard-working, and motivated. Many of these students are taking 4-6 AP classes. Not only does that take a tremendous amount of time and energy it also costs quite a bit of money.

As a teacher I want to provide them with every possible opportunity and resource in order to help them succeed.

The money spent on AP Exams themselves, not to mention test prep books and easily add up. I would love to be able to provide my students with another resource, in recognition of all their hard work!

My Project

I used Albert IO, an online test prep program for the first time last year in both my AP Physics 1 and 2 classes. I found it to be a wonderful, cost effective review tool, providing students with content practice and motivation. Albert really has done a great job creating questions with the rigor of AP, not an easy task. Additionally the program provides instant feedback and explanations allowing students to review and identify areas where they may need to spend a little extra time. It also allowed me, as their teacher, to see the areas to concentrate on when reviewing in class.

I really do believe that Albert Io is one of the reasons I saw a dramatic increase in my pass rate last year.

In fact, a number of students told me they thought it was the reason they got that 4 instead of a 3, or a 3 instead of 2. Here's hoping to see a repeat this year!
