Air Purifier & Small Group Table for Inclusion Classroom
Help me give my students a clean environment with the air purifier and a small table where I can work one on one with them or either in a very small group setting.
My students are some of the most caring little people you will ever meet. When school closed in the spring, internet access to learn virtually was the biggest challenge most faced. Distant learning may be a challenge for them this fall as well, but if we are able to attend school in the fall, I want to make sure that I am well prepared for them and have the safest and most efficient classroom possible. This includes keeping them safe from Covid-19 other potential viruses this year while providing them with the best classroom environment possible.
My Project
As we enter the fall, we are uncertain if we will be teaching children at school or virtually. I have already returned to the classroom and I will be teaching students regardless if they are at home or at school. However, when the students return to the classroom in person, the air purifier will help ensure their safety with Covid-19 and other viruses in our community.
Since this is my first year to teach inclusion, I do not have a small kidney/half-moon table or stools, but I need this in order to work one on one with my students and/or in a small group setting when the students do return.
I work with inclusion students and I really need a table that can be adjusted on height that can be easily accessed from a wheel chair, etc. and one where I can work with several students at one time on different subjects.
I am sure this fall will be a challenging time for students, parents, and faculty. Besides the necessary sanitizing that the janitorial staff and I will be doing on a daily basis, I believe an air purifier will aid in classroom safety and the table will definitely be beneficial for my students instruction. When students feel safe and have a positive, clean environment, they will be more focused on learning and their education.
