Our school is comprised of students across the Charlotte-Mecklenburg area of North Carolina. Our classroom is quite unique as our students have to audition to attend this public arts magnet school. They are creative and imaginative from all walks of life and economic backgrounds.
Using a hands-on approach and "learning by doing," students are taught the arts by both full-time professional teachers certified in their arts disciplines and area and national professionals who teach master classes throughout the academic year.
My Project
It is finally happening! Students are returning to school and I am very much looking forward to seeing them again or for the first time for some of them. I want to make sure my students are protected because my students' safety is my number one concern.
I have requested a Coway AirMega 400 Smart air purifier.
This air purifier will help to clean the air in our classroom and remove 99.9% of particles in the air, making our classroom safer for students. We already received our first air purifier after our first successful DonorsChoose project was fully funded! Thank you so much! However, our chorus classroom is so large that we need a second air purifier to ensure that all of the air in our space is being completely cleaned.
Currently, about 60% of the air in our chorus class is being cleaned with the air purifier we have set up in the classroom. Please help us reach full coverage with the help of a second air purifier!
My students will be able to breathe clean air and feel safer with both air purifiers in the classroom. Thank you for your support!
