My Students

I teach 125 Spanish 2 students with varied abilities.

This is a sneaky way to improve literacy in the target language in a way that appeals to students.

My students from North Attleboro are part of a language program that gives children from all cultures, areas, and various incomes an opportunity to learn and thrive within the district. My energetic teens don't always enter the classroom ready to learn, discover, and explore. I am hoping these magazines will help change things up and appeal to them while not overwhelming them the way a book or novel might.

My Project

I hope to provide my students with these interactive target-language magazines. As a former high school Spanish learner, I remember looking forward to receiving these magazines and using them in a variety of ways in the foreign language classroom.
