Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

The students in the Sanger High School district are students that come from a low socioeconomic area, however they are some of the hardest working students I personally have ever worked with. The students of Sanger High School continuously impress not only myself but those through campus with their kindness and respect to ensuring all students feel apart of the Sanger High School Family.

These are students that are working continuously to improve their employability and well as improve their shot at a post secondary education, many of which will be first generation college students.

My Project

These materials will provided my students with hands on learning opportunities. The skills they learn through this project are skills that can ensure that they are employable in the work force and in the agriculture industry. This project also allows students to show their creativity and well as apply the skills they are learning in their math and english course.

Through their course work students are tasked with developing a wood working project that will be shown off at the Wonderful Showcase in the Fall and again in the Spring in front of their friends and family.

These students pour creativity into the development of their projects as well as numerous hours of hard work both in the classroom and outside of it.
