My students need to replace worn out Chromebooks that are no longer supported.

Hooray! This project is fully funded
I teach seventh and eighth grade math students in the common core curriculum.
As part of a Title One school, many of our students are from very low-income or poverty households.
They are faced with several challenges in and out of the classroom and do not have access to a computer or the internet at home. We have one set of Chromebooks to share between three classrooms in the math department. The Chromebooks are five years old and are used on a daily basis.
Our goal is to replace the thirty-six Chromebooks this year, before they give out completely. It is not fiscally smart to repair them, as the cost to repair is more than the replacement cost. This gift would complete our goal of 36 replacement chromebooks!
Keeping current and being able to access technology in the classroom is vitally important. We have one cart of 36 Chromebooks for our math department, which we share between 3 teachers/classrooms. They were purchased 5 years ago through a local grant, which is no longer available. Our current Chromebooks are wearing out and can no longer be updated or supported by Google.
Please help us replace the worn out Chromebooks so we can continue to offer technology to our students!
Having this technology available to our students has allowed them to experience things they would not have otherwise. Many of our students do not have computers or internet access at home.
