Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
As a teacher in a low-income/high poverty school district, my students are faced with several challenges both in and out of the classroom. Despite the many challenges they face, they are always eager to be in school.
I would like to create an after school sport program but due to budgeting it is impossible to do without your donation.
In order to have this program running, we will need sport equipment and safety clothing.
With this program, I am hoping to keep my students longer in school.
My Project
I would like to have a sport after school program such as baseball, soccer basketball, and volleyball to keep my students off the street.
By donating to our project, you will not only help to improve and increase student health and self-esteem, you will ultimately help to increase their academic achievement.
Having an after school sport program will keep our students off the street and off the couch.
This program will be for those students who due to their social economic and parent's work schedule have no other choice but to stay at home watching TV or on the street.
