Help me give my students a culture centered library of books for students with Afro-Latinx families and students recently immigrated from the Philippines, posters to write about, share, and celebrate their cultures, world map, and country flags.

My Project

Please help me give our classroom a student-culture centered library of books for students with Afro-Latinx families and students recently immigrated from the Philippines. This project includes a ton of great titles celebrating about life and culture of Afro-Latinx and Pilipino students. It also includes posters to write about, share, and celebrate their cultures. To round out these materials for a multicultural celebration are a tapestry style world map, flags from 100 countries around the world.

Our students deserve to be seen and celebrated!

Our classroom library is missing representation of our Afro-Latinx and Pilipino students. The materials in this project will encourage culture sharing, respect, and pride for students as they learn about their own culture, and the cultures of others.
