My Students

On a daily basis, Air Force Junior ROTC cadets learn about a variety of topics. The AFJROTC mission is to "Develop Citizens of Character Serving their Nation and Community", while exhibiting our Core Values of "Integrity First, Service Before Self and Excellence in All We Do". Each day our amazing cadets study aerospace, leadership and wellness topics. We would like to take them on a field trip to experience the "Learning Jet" based at the St Paul, MN airport to enhance their aerospace curriculum.

My Project

The Learning Jet will give Air Force Junior ROTC cadets a hands-on aerospace learning experience. Our school, Johnson High School, is an Aerospace & Engineering High School, working to create interest in careers of the future. The Learning Jet is a great way to expose our cadets to real-life aerospace career opportunities and cadets are able to have fun in a safe, educational environment!

The Learning Jet offers students STEM education – Programs include science, technology, engineering, and mathematics standards so that students of all ages can learn necessary skills needed later in life.

It introduces students to the different careers available within several transportation industries and provides hands-on learning experiences using multi-modal simulators that enhance the learning experience.
