AES students have spunk and spirit. They are a bunch of lovely kids eager to make their mark in society. Due to a few financial setbacks there are experiences they may not have access to. With tenacious hearts, community support and determination, AES students have accomplished so many awesome achievements. They are by far the greatest kids on Earth!
Our students experience several challenges teachers could never imagine, yet we treat each day as a fresh new start.
The effects of being in a Title I school are felt when our students aren't allotted the exploration they deserve either in the arts or through sports.
My students are deserving of all the love and extra-curricular experiences any other child in America has. It has been proven time and time again that students thrive when all of their needs are met. They are receiving a great education academically, but they crave a step further.
My Project
A Basketball team for AES is being requested as an After-School Athletic Program. Sports encompass more than physical activity. The AES Basketball team will increase students’ self-esteem, mental alertness, school spirit and provide health benefits . Not only will the AES Basketball team empower students, it will promote and motivate higher academic performance and discipline.
AES students are deserving of all the attention, dedication, academics and extra-curricular experiences any other child in America has.
