Aerobics For All

Help me give my students aerobic steps, so they can learn more about different options that they have for exercising and staying physically fit as they get older.

My Students

Living in southeastern Utah makes you understand that not only is the terrain resilient but so our the students that live in the area. Many of our students come from homes without water or electricity. They fight though many social and economic issues that students there age should not have to deal with. Yet, they come to school ready and eager to learn.

The location of our county also proves to be a disadvantage to many of our students that do not of the means to travel distances.

They are not able to experience what most other kids are able to experience, whether in school or out. In class I love to give them the chance to experience this.

My Project

I've just started an aerobics class with grades 6th - 8th. Many of my students do not have access to a gym or any other type of fitness facility due to Covid or economic issues. These would be a great opportunity for those students that are not able to leave their houses right now to learn another way that they can stay physically fit during this time and in their future.

For many of my students, my class is the only time that they move and our active in their daily life.

If this helps just one student find an activity that he/she loves, it will be a success.
