This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My school is an extremely diverse population. There are many different nationalities and cultures represented here. Many of them have limited experiences with the medical community. The students in my class are pursuing a medical career. Some are aspiring to be doctors, nurses, physical therapists, paramedics, fire fighters and more.

The experiences they obtain will guide them into their future goals and education.

These students enjoy hands on experiences and are committed to learning all they can with the opportunities presented to them. They work hard to be the best they can be and are devoted to their studies. My students are unbelievable, I am privileged to be their teacher.

My Project

My students need these AED's to allow them actual hands on experience using an AED. A CPR certification class is provided for them but we don't have any properly functioning AED's to give them experience using an AED. During their CPR certification class they are required to know how to use an AED. These trainers would be vital to their learning.

AED's SAVE LIVES!!

My students are future health care professionals. Training them properly now gives them an advantage as they pursue their career goals. It is also beneficial to us, the general public because they may be the one to save you or your loved ones life by using an AED!!
