Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
There's so many great things to say about my students. I have been working in fifth grade for the last year and can't describe the happiness they bring me each and every day. They are so excited to learn, explore and make progress as we face new concepts.
My students are eager to learn and as a classroom teacher I'm always looking for ways to keep them engaged.
Everyone is ready to learn and they motivate each other and appreciate the different learning styles that make up the individuals in our classroom. Our classroom is made up of a diverse group of students that we value and depend on to work towards goals and learning.
Learning new concepts and finding understanding can be a difficult task, but you can count on my students to take it on! They are all so eager and ready to sink their hands into the fun, hands-on concepts that are new to them. I've had the chance to work with wonderful students and can't wait to continue my journey this year.
My Project
These VersaTiles will help my classroom tremendously. I'm always looking for ways to engage my students and keep them interested in learning.
Math is a subject that can make students doubt themselves, but with Versa Tiles, there is a self checking answer system that will give them the confidence they need when practicing.
Versa Tiles provide a fun, flexible, and reliable way for students to solidify the skills that they have already been taught. They challenge and build proficiency all while helping them address hurdles they might have in math. It would be a great way for my students to work independently, or in small groups.
