Help me give my students comfortable seating to take an adventure though a book. The I Survived books and Who Was/Who Were books provide them this journey through language that is easy for them to understand.
My students are using the Louisiana Guidebooks as their primary text. The Guidebooks provide these 3rd grade students with a deep a knowledge base of their culture and state while incorporating different genres of reading. The supplemental reads that are paired with our Louisiana Guidebook lessons are filled with adventure, history and knowledge.
They are eager to enter class each day to see what new adventures the books in our lesson will bring.
Reading these books takes them on a journey that they may never have imagined going on. Wouldn't it wonderful if they could have flexible seating to embark on this journey?
My Project
These books will continue to spark the imagination of each student. They will take them on a journey though the pages and bring them face to face with an adventure that will never be forgotten.
The greatest gift we can give a child is the gift of reading.
This gift that's allowing them to take a journey though a book, in addition to having a flexible seating space to relax and enjoy their adventure, will help stimulate a greater thought process. By providing such a large variety of books to choose from, they will be able to find books that interest them. Their adventures await!
