My Students

I have the amazing opportunity to teach a class of advanced learning 4th grade students this year. COVID-19 and its affects on education have greatly impacted these students, as it has all other students. These are kids who are used to being ahead of the curve, yet they are struggling because of the educational interruptions of the past year and a half. I feel it is my responsibility to help them get back up to where they should be.

My Project

COVID-19 has affected our children academically in so many ways. My advanced learning class has lacked the challenges they crave, because there is so much catching up to do. Our class could use additional science supplies to help them work their inquisitive minds.

We will use these supplies to discover new things about our world together.

We will also use them to provide a way for us to show what we have learned by making informational books about our learning. We are excited to use these materials for hands-on science again.
