Help me give my students an FL Studio Controller to be used in conjunction with FL Studio Music composition and production software along with a new high hat stand.
Students at the middle and high school levels at larger schools can develop a wide variety of music skills. There are those who choose to delve into larger performance groups while others prefer small ensembles. For students, there are a variety of ways to study and appreciate music.
As we are a small, rural school the music opportunities look different when compared to larger schools.
We offer classes that meet the needs of our students and give them rich learning experiences such as African Drumming and Ukulele. There are also opportunities to learn other instruments in a music lab setting. Music technology is an area that is gaining a lot of interest.
My Project
My students are first introduced to sound mixing, editing, and recording using Acid Music Studio software at the middle school level.
Our high school music lab is incorporating FL Studio 20 along with the Akai Fire FL Studio Controller to develop 21st century skills in music production.
Students will be able to multi-track record, create sequences, and compose using prerecorded loops. They will also have the ability to record and manipulate sounds.
The drum set that students have to practice on is in need of a new high hat stand. The current stand is not able to be repaired. Having quality equipment helps student develop good technique.
