Help me give my students a chance to connect with their grandfriends from a local nursing home once again.

My Project

Our EAST classes used to be able to have our students meet with our local nursing home residents. Due to recent events, such as Covid and a tornado that destroyed our nursing home, we haven't been able to meet face to face. Our grandfriends are currently scattered in nursing homes throughout Northeast Arkansas. This project will help us build a connection with them once again.

Meeting with students had been improving resident's moods and making both students and Monette Manor residents happy.

We have been working towards a way for them to be able to meet safely and virtually. This will be done through the residents having tablets and using video calling to connect with the students once again.

We are excited about this project and look forward to making connections with our grandfriends once again. Please help us fund this project.
