My students are BRAND new to school! Our school is in a rural town in Indiana. My kindergarten students are full of energy, very creative, and love to learn new things. One of their favorite things is to get to use the computers, iPads and different objects that they can build with their hands.
In the classroom, I try to use things that will continue to foster their creativity and the love for learning that they have in kindergarten!
Most of my students learn best by doing hands-on activities, and it is important that I am continually finding new things for them.
These adjustable tables will be a great asset to our classroom in which we use flexible seating options. Adjusting the table to go down for floor seating is ideal for those students who choose not to sit in a normal chair.
Adjusting the table height to go up to normal height will be useful for those students who choose to sit in a normal chair, wobble stool, or balance ball.
We will use these tables daily for whole group instruction as well as student learning centers. They are easy to clean and easy to move around the room if needed.
