My Students

I have the wonderful opportunity to teach under privileged students in our community. These students are working very hard to plan for their future, and ensure their success in all aspects of their education. They are determined to create better lives for themselves, and their families.

I have fallen in love with the kindness, compassion, and selflessness I am able to experience daily with these children.

I am excited to try to give them more assistance with their future goals.

My Project

I have several students in my classroom with Attention Deficit Hyperactive Disorder (ADHD). This makes sitting in a chair all day next to impossible. I have flexible seating options around my room for independent work loads, but I find these students continue to struggle during instruction as well.

These Bouncy Bands offer the students a quiet, non-distracting mobility option all meant to assist with the release of the excess energy that is hindering their ability to focus and learn.

Not only does it offer support for the students with ADHD, but also for the students around them who are often distracted by their uncontrollable energy needs.
