My students are 5 and 6 years old and love to be on the move all day long. They come from a wide variety of backgrounds, but they are all full of energy and ready to learn. Our school motto is to show pride in everything we do, and my kids always try their best.
I teach at a STEM school, and my students are ready to explore and learn new things through inquiry and movement each day.
Some of my students are in school for the first time, and they are all so full of energy. As their teacher, I love to take that energy and direct it into meaningful learning activities instead of making them sit still all day.
My students and I are requesting a light table so that we can add visual arts activities to our daily schedule. My students will be able to use the light table to explore how light and shadows work. As well as how different colors and light interact.
They will also be able to explore different math and ELA concepts while incorporating visual arts.
They will be able to explore patterns, shapes, numbers, letters, words, and much more. The various accessory packs will allow us to use many different manipulatives to explore how things work together. There is also a sensory pack that will allow us to use the light table as a sensory station for exploring and calming down.
