Adding More To Our Garden

My students need more space in the garden in order to learn about caring for plants and continuing to increase our butterfly garden space.

My Students

My elementary school is full of curious and inquisitive students wanting to learn. We nurture a student culture of world-changers in our school and community. The best part is that students can step outside and experience first-hand all components of life. Relevant learning is key to student success.

What better way to foster our learning environment by providing outdoor learning investigations that apply to real-life.

I want to provide the materials our students need to continue to grow and learn through interactive hands-on experiences outdoors.

My Project

All of our students have caught the planting bug. What an amazing learning opportunity this provides for our students.

More and more students want to be in our Garden Club and learn about the plants, how they grow, and what makes a butterfly garden.

Adding a raised flower bed will increase the amount of learning and planting in our garden. The sign stakes will be utilized in such a way that my students can create and label signs in English and also in Spanish for our Spanish Immersion students. The tree diapers will help keep our fruit trees thriving and students will further increase their learning by exploring how to care for fruit trees.
