My students need a color printer for all of our literacy and social studies projects.

My Students

"Learning by doing" was initially promoted by John Dewey. My students will learn by doing when they create their projects.

My students love technology.

Kindergarten through second grade classes use iPads. All third through fifth grade classrooms have a class set of chrome books. Students use the chrome books for research, to create power point presentations, and to explore educational web sites.

My Project

My students will use the color printer to print their class projects. When we read "Fire from the Rock," students will create a brochure that describes a character or event in the story. Students will design a baseball card for a player in the book "We Are the Ship."

Having a color printer in the classroom will make it possible for me to print all of our projects in color.

Last year I was only able to print one project in color. I had to forward each student's project to the school secretary so she could print them with the office's color printer.
