My Project

Hello! Thank you for taking the time to read this project. I am a high school special education teacher who teaches a modified ELA and Math class. As a teacher, my philosophy is hands-on learning. I believe that this can help elevate understanding. This project has supplies (crayons and colored pencils) that can add color to their everyday assignments. The crayons and colored pencils will be used by the students to add their own spark to everyday assignments. The supplies will also provide a calming strategy as coloring can be very calming for students.

Students show pride in their work when they use all exciting colors.

As a reward in my classroom for positive behavior, I let them sit in the teacher's chair. This project would provide a new teacher chair to replace an old one.
