This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My kindergartners are adjusting well this first trimester of the school year. They can write their names and are learning letters and sounds. I printed out labels for their homework folders and water bottles but the labels are coming off and some are fading. We need permanent vinyl and transfer tape so I can use the Cricut machine to cut out their names and personalize their folders and water bottles and not worry that they will fade or wear off. We can also create custom t-shirts with our school logo to wear on Mondays to show school pride!

Adding a personal touch to students' materials makes them feel special.

Having something of their own will give them ownership and pride.
