I teach at a Title I elementary school in Arizona. Our students come from diverse economic and ethnic backgrounds. Over seventy percent of our students receive free or reduced-price lunch daily.
My school's mission focuses on academic, fitness, and personal achievements for both students and staff.
We believe all students can be successful and we try to give them every tool they need to reach their goals. Our staff teaches after school clubs throughout the year that range from art and dance to technology and math. We spend time in our classrooms, on announcements, and at assemblies celebrating the fitness and academic successes of our students and staff.
My Project
Math games are a very good way for my students to practice their math facts. They are able to use the skills they have been taught in an independent way. Any chance for them to practice their math skills will help solidify their understanding of math. These math games are based on the standards we will practice in class.
Playing these math games will help our students practice the math skills they have been taught in class.
These sets of math games will be for our entire grade level, so all of our students will benefit from the extra math practice.
