Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Students in my Tech Concepts class experience and imagine how developing technologies affect their lives through data-driven hydroponics growing systems.

As part of that experience, students will grow nutritious vegetables using AeroGarden's Adaptive Growth Technology, while learning about microprocessors, coding, and healthy ways to use Hydroponics and new technologies.

Data collected from this system will guide students to develop a knowledge of plant growth and how it varies from vegetable to vegetable. Already learning about inputs and outputs, switches and LEDs, and how to control them using microcontrollers, the AeroGardens and supplies will help satisfy the hunger to learn more.
