My Project

Our school is made up of a diverse group of 2nd and 3rd graders. We're a town located outside of the city limits, and serve students from many different economic backgrounds and ethnicities. We currently have 12 second grade classes, and 9 third grade classes. All of our students receive free breakfast and lunch.

Snacks and drinks are great, but have you ever gotten a FREE book from a vending machine?

The Inchy Book Vending Machine will allow our students to earn their very own books to keep! Many of our students families can't afford to purchase books to build an at home library and this will help get books into their hands and homes. Promoting literacy and positive behavior will be our main focus. Students school-wide will have the opportunity to earn golden tokens. Who wouldn't love a visit to the vending machine to choose a book of their very own?
