This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I teach special education. A small activity table will be very useful to have my students work in small groups as well as assisting my students with independent work and progress monitoring skills. Students need another place in the classroom where they can go and sit besides their desks. It will also allow my students to work cooperatively at their own pace and not rely on themselves. Overall, this will be a great asset to my classroom and it will really benefit my students academic performance as well as social skills.
