Help me give my students the Qball - Throwable Wireless Microphone and supplies to attach it to our classroom speaker so all can hear, and alternative lighting for the classroom!
In my fourth and fifth grade science and social studies classroom I have lots of students who are motivated, intelligent, and strive to excel. I am a teacher in a low-income/high poverty school district. My students are faced with challenges both in and out of the classroom. Despite the many challenges they face, I am looking to provide my students with creative and meaningful learning experiences. I believe that I have some of the best students in the nation, and I want to give them every opportunity to excel and grow in my classroom.
My Project
This Q ball will make a tremendous difference in my classroom by allowing all students to be heard. With the microphone, it allows their voice to be amplified and heard by all. This teaches the importance of vocalizing your thoughts and answers. Our big focus is getting our students to communicate with one another and use words to describe their thoughts and feelings.With the QBall, valuable communication skills are being taught to better our children's lives and future. This ball makes things fun and interesting while also teaching the necessary skills of vocalizing. Communication is key in our classroom and a QBall will make that much more exciting.
I would also liked to purchase alternative lighting.
Providing students with this lighting alternative can improve productivity and create a calm and comfortable learning environment that is necessary for them to be successful! This will improve our classroom by creating a comfortable, peaceful and productive learning environment for students to grow and learn in academically, socially and emotionally.
