My students need standing desks for our computers and iPads. We also need two more iPads to engage in technology based station work such as research, eBook reading, and google classroom activities.
I teach 3rd grade language arts in the city of Memphis. My students come from all backgrounds and have many different needs. I teach in an inclusion classroom and have many diverse learners. The 3rd grade students in my classroom are learning essential skills to take them through elementary school, middle school, high school, college and life! I love them dearly and would do anything for them! They need your help to have access to the best materials and supplies! Thank you!
My Project
Having the set of iPads and standing desks will allow students to work in pairs while remaining active during station work such as google classroom activities, research, and reading eBooks . Students will be able to remain standing, not only while using the IPads, but also our desktop computers in the classroom!
My project will make a difference because students will remain active while digitally learning together.
Our classrooms are not yet at the level technologically to meet their needs as learners and spending too much time sitting hurts our students. This grant will help the students to engage in highly interactive and exciting station work while staying on their feet.
