I have the best 2nd grade students! My students work hard every day, despite challenges that they face. A good majority of the school is low socioeconomic.
My students are working toward becoming independent learners and they focus on making themselves better everyday.
My class truly becomes a family by the end of the school year, it is amazing to watch their growth. They focus on building each other up and strengthening their relationships with each other. We are a team and it shows in the growth that they make!
My Project
I am requesting several things to help my students have a successful school year. They love being active! I am requesting several flexible seating options for my students. I have noticed that some students just have trouble being in the traditional desk and chair, so the flexible seat will give them a different option to help them stay focused.
I am also requesting an Osmo Genius kit and an Osmo pizza.
Osmo allows students to have hands on opportunities to strengthen their literacy and math skills. Osmo is also a wonderful way for students to collaborate. They love working together and helping each other.
