I love that my students have come to embrace remote learning this year. I have spent my entire career ensuring that students receive the highest quality and best educational opportunity ever! In this world of remote learning I spend a great deal of time designing lessons to promote engagement, inquiry and student discourse.
My students want to be exposed to new concepts through active engagement in the learning task.
They want to be creative and challenged. While we learning remotely, I am still engaging them to work together in groups to explore Civics and Democracy.
I am so excited that I have a group of students first were highly reluctant to participate in class but now are excited about learning and actively participate because they feel challenged and connect to the work and their classmates. I am teaching them new tools to use online to make their work stand out. I am proud that they are taking risks, stepping out of their box and embracing this new world of learning online.
Remote Learning is the future of learning. Ensuring lessons are engaging and creative is the challenge for educators, especially during the pandemic.
I have found that my students are still very interested in learning and engaging with one another in the classroom.
The interactive whiteboard will help me present content, videos and other materials in a way that simulates the classroom.
The interactive software provide a means for students to be creative in their presentations and interactions which fosters engagement and interaction between students and the teacher in the classroom.
