My kindergarten students are eager to learn and are especially motivated to work independently. My school is a Pre K-5 public school in a diverse community. Half of our students qualify for free or reduced-price lunch.
My students love to be challenged with new tasks.
They are so excited to learn, and I provide them with lessons to help each and every child learn to their potential. My students learn best when I give them opportunities for hands-on activities throughout the day.
My Project
My kindergarten students crave the opportunity to be physically active while learning and practicing skills. The "Let's Get Moving" activity mats have exercises printed on them. I plan to use these during indoor recess to provide movement. My students will each stand on a mat and do the exercise and will rotate to other mats when I give the signal.
My students are so enthusiastic about learning.
They love being active and engaged in hands-on activities. The sight word mats and alphabet and numbers bean bags will keep my students actively engaged in play while developing literacy and numeracy.
