I love the personalities of all my students. They are all so diverse in their interests and its a new and exciting challenge every day to see them grasp concept and explore the Spanish language. They are constantly bringing new challenges to the classroom but it keeps every day interesting. I love working with Naugatuck students but they also come from a disadvantaged background and they are able to access as many resources as we would like to provide! I am so excited to be given the opportunity to help my students become actively engaged
My Project
This project will help fund my desire to build my students engagement. Sometimes it is difficult to keep their interest and I believe that active engagement is the best way to provide so many beneficial educational opportunities! Some of the materials I would like for my classroom include personal dry erase boards, erasers, markers, interactive buzzers, and colorful reams of paper so that I can laminate fun activities. I love using vibrant and fun colors in my room to peak interest. I believe with these materials Ill be able to design lessons to keep students actively engaged in my classroom which will overall benefit students in the long run!
