Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
I love my classroom community! My students are kind, creative, and thoughtful. They come to school everyday with a thirst for knowledge. Planning hands-on activities that are active and engaging allow my students to be successful in the classroom. I try to meet the needs of all of my students with varied learning strategies, group work, and flexible seating.
My students know that what we learn becomes a part of who we are and they are excited to learn everyday!
My Project
The wiggle seats and stools allow for flexible seating in the classroom. These materials will help students get their "wiggles" out while still being able to focus on the academic material at hand. The tablets allow for me to integrate a technology center into the classroom. Plus in this technology literate world, any interaction with updated technology will increase their literacy as well as their desire to learn and use the new technology! The storage container will allow for me to make more room class for students to move around while doing hands-on experiments. I keep my classroom active and moving as much as possible!
