Help me give my students Verbal Behavioral Identification Cards. These THINKPSYCH Verb Flash Cards Picture Cards and Stages Learning Materials Language Builder Verb Flash Cards will help students identify someone doing a specific verbs or action words.
Our school is located in a very rural area and consists of about 560 students K-12. We are in the north central part of Pennsylvania. The students in my classroom are there to learn the fundamentals of "getting ready for life." Thus, we learn the basics of cooking, cleaning, finances, employment, math, reading, post-secondary graduation goals, and becoming adults. The class serves students who vary from learning disabilities, intellectual disabilities, ADHD, Autism, EBD, Cerebral Palsy, and Specific Learning Disabilities. I want to help them get everything they need for a thorough learning experience with every lesson!
My Project
These materials will be used in the classroom with students who are functioning at a lower level of learning and require photo picture cards to identify unknown verb and action words.
Identification of unknown objects is how we learn about things around us in this world.
We can achieve teaching them these skills through repetitive teaching sessions of Intense Instruction (frequently used with students who have Autism). It is also known as Verbal Behavior. Helping students learn about objects in our world, helps students communicate better with those around them.
