Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My school is in the heart of East Los Angeles and it has been proving academic learning for almost 100 years. The majority of my pre-kinder students are low-income students who are mostly English Language Learners. I feel that my students deserve to have access to essential classroom supplies and experiences.
My Project
All the items will be used at school where they can get more hands on with a child friendly environment. They will be able to use a child vacumm and cleaning supplies that are the right size for them. The will have a variety of play food to make their experience a memorable one.
The classroom environment will become a place filled with wonder, imagination, inspiration and creativity.
The students will also be able to play with a doll house furnished with a bedroom, living room, and have extened family members. They will also be able to create their own cities and landsacpes with the magna tiles. Their imagination will go wild!
