My students need water beads used for calming/ sensory bottles, iPad cases as ours are worn and broken. We use our iPads for data collection/reinforcement for our students. My students also need an OSMO kit for cognitive and fine motor skills!

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
Our class is a nest of 5 wonderful students. In our room, we utilize a functional schedule to support the intricate needs of our students. Nestled at the top of the hill, on a quiet back road, lies our school. Smaller than most in our county, we are much like family.
We are constantly working to maximize efficient skills such as fine and gross motor, social skills, cognitive thinking, etc.

My Project
The water beads are a great resource for calming/sensory bottles in our classroom. All of our students love to look and play with these bottles during times of frustration or for sensory breaks. We currently use iPads in our classroom for data collection/reinforcement. Over time our iPad cases have become damaged or broken. We are in dire need of three new cases for our classroom. The fine motor game is an excellent addition to our task boxes as it helps all of our young students to strengthen their fine motor skills! Last but not least the OSMO kit has proven to be a hit in our fellow ABA classroom and we would love to have it in ours! It is an interactive game used with the iPad to strengthen cognitive and fine motor skills!
