This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The full year subscription to the Scholastics ¿Qué tal? Magazine will help my amazing and enthusiastic 8th grade Spanish 1 students. These magazines provide authentic and engaging Spanish articles at my students’ current proficiency level. It will be an opportunity for them to learn new vocabulary and to apply the concepts that they are learning in class during reading activities.

I want to help my students be able to become more proficient in the language and to learn more about the Hispanic countries and their cultures by connecting with trendy, engaging, fun and relatable topics in the target language and to feel more confident in their skills and Spanish knowledge.
