My Students
I have a fun, happy, energetic group of 18 Kindergarteners! They are the sweetest group of kiddos who love school. Energetic is key - these sweet littles are always on the move so our lesson plans accommodate that. Our day also accommodates the heavy load some of my littles face at home. Some of my kiddos struggle to find a meal at home. Some of them struggle to have clean clothes. Thankfully, all of them are so loved by all.
My Project
Five and six year old students learn best through play. Unfortunately, many of our play-based centers were eliminated due to new COVID-19 guidelines. I'd like to have individualized sets of these magnetic tiles for my friends to still learn through play but in a safe, sanitary way. I plan on giving each student their own personal set so they can build and create whatever they envision. They love these tiles. They create many various structures, cars, trucks.... their imagination really sets off when using tiles. Their sense of pride with their completed design is truly admirable.
