My Students

Welcome to our room, a place where diverse learners of multiple levels, personalities and temperaments converge to express themselves through spoken and written words. Meeting each child's special needs is a joy for me each day. In our classroom, utilizing strategies that allow us to negotiate with our shortcomings, we learn reading, writing and respect, strategies for life and techniques to reach our individual goals as well as how to work with others. Finding our path together continues to amaze and motivate me.

My Project

In my diverse learner classroom, it is critical that students immediately focus on instruction. A document camera will provide us with a clear model for students to see without any confusion or downtime.

When they understand the task at hand, be it reading, annotating a text, writing, or following our classroom protocol, my students are able to get right down to work, and I can efficiently guide them in ways that allow them to excel.

A document camera will also allow my students to clearly present their work. In this way, they may teach their peers and demonstrate communication skills which are essential in today's business world.
