Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

Your generous support with this project will help provide our phenomenal middle school students with access to some healthy and delicious snacks during the school day. Lunch is from 10AM-10:30AM for some of our students, and having access to healthy snacks will help our learners throughout the school day. I like to put a basket of healthy snacks out throughout the school day for students to access if they are in need of a snack after having such an early lunch. Some students even come in and still feel hungry after breakfast. Supporting this project will help ensure I have plenty of snacks available and it will keep our classroom basket for snacks filled for students when needed throughout the school day! I also have student athletes and other middle school students in other grades that will pop in that are hungry in need of a snack. I am incredibly grateful for any support.
